La Chouette Compagnie announces the appointment of Adeline Tormo as Head of Sales

Former HARI Head of Sales joins La Chouette Compagnie to develop international business and

support the significant growth of its activities.

French animation studio La Chouette Compagnie has appointed Adeline Tormo, formerly Head of Sales at HARI Group, as Head of Sales with the mission of defining the international financing and exploitation strategies for the company's content, and overseeing their implementation.

Adeline's expertise in the rapidly changing global children's animation market will help La Chouette

Compagnie strengthen its footprint with all television channels and digital platforms worldwide, and

develop strategic relationships with international partners for co-productions.

About Adeline Tormo

For almost 15 years, Adeline Tormo has specialized in the international distribution and financing of animated series. Adeline began her career in 2008 at Gaumont Animation as an intern in the Sales and Marketing department. In 2009, Adeline was appointed International Sales Manager, in charge of the distribution of the animated series catalog in Eastern Europe and Latin America. In addition to these territories, between 2010 and 2014, Adeline was responsible for the exploitation of properties such as Calimero and Galactik Footballin the US, France, the Middle East and Africa. In 2014, Adeline was promoted to VP International Sales, adding sales of US and French drama series produced by Gaumont Television (Hannibal,Narcos) to her portfolio.

In 2016, Adeline joined the HARI Group as Head of Sales to create and lead HARI International - the subsidiary in charge of the exploitation of properties created and produced by HARI. In 2019, three years after launching the business, HARI International won the Export Award for the series Grizzy & the Lemmings- the best-selling French animated series in the world that year. Adeline holds a master’s degree in Management from Paris IX Dauphine and a master’s degree in Law and Administration of Audiovisual Communication from Paris I Sorbonne.

Founded in 2015, La Chouette Compagnie develops, produces and distributes animation series in partnership with the main French and international leaders of the sector. Its catalog already includes several titles, including the following: Droners(26 x 26'), Bapt & Gael et les aventures de la couille cosmique(16 x 7'), Le monde selon Kev (52 x 13'), and Imago(26 x 26'), which will begin airing this fall 2022 on TF1.

In 2022-2023, the company is producing Azuro & la Brigade des Dragons (52 x 11') and season 2 of Droners (26 x 26') for TF1, Dragon Striker(22 x 22') for DISNEY+, Dreamland(10 x 22') for ADN, and is pursuing the development of Taki Tanuki (52 x 7') for FRANCE TELEVISIONS and L'épopée Temporelle for ADULTSWIM.

The company has a creative studio in Montreuil, and a second production studio in Angoulême, the capital of French comics and animation.
